Key features

When the main hospital HIS is down or unreachable, care still has to continue. HIS Downtime is a standby system that runs on its own — on a separate host and a separate network from the HIS — holding the critical data (patient registry, payer scheme, medications, history, lab and imaging results, doctor orders, finance) that staff export from the HIS as CSV or Excel and load in advance, either by manual upload or by dropping files into a folder that a scheduled job imports automatically. Staff search by name, HN or national ID, read the data in tabs, print a one-page A4 summary, and key in anything that happens during downtime so it can be re-entered into the HIS afterwards — provisional receipts included.

  • Independent of the HIS: separate host, separate network, no shared failure
  • Load data exported from the HIS (CSV / Excel) in advance
  • Scheduled folder auto-import (cron), or manual upload
  • Search by name / HN / national ID and read the data in tabs
  • Print a one-page A4 patient summary and a provisional receipt
  • Key in downtime activity, flagged for re-entry into the HIS

Still have a question?

A single module with sample data can be live in 1–2 weeks. Migrating real data and training staff usually takes 4–8 weeks depending on how much legacy data you have.

Yes. We migrate from Excel, Access or your current database, with a validation pass before go-live.

Role-based permissions, an audit log, encrypted connections and automatic backups. On-premise deployment is available if data must stay inside your network.

Yes — via a standard API or scheduled file import/export. We have integrated with several HIS and ERP products before.

We recommend it. Pick the module that solves your most urgent problem, then add others once your team is comfortable — the shared core is reused straight away.
